FAQ

Everything you'd want to know before you drape yourself in Dwaarik — from fabric to fit to what happens after you order.

We work primarily with pure cotton, chanderi, linen, and silk-blend fabrics sourced from weaving clusters across India. Each fabric is chosen to suit the cut and occasion, so a festive kurta may carry silk chanderi while an everyday piece is soft, breathable cotton.

We work with pure cotton, chanderi, linen, and silk-blend fabrics souEvery product page carries a detailed size chart with chest, length, and shoulder measurements in inches. We recommend measuring a well-fitting kurta you already own and comparing it against our chart rather than relying on standard S/M/L, since our cuts run true-to-measurement, not brand-standard.

Yes. Our embroidered pieces are hand-worked by artisan clusters using techniques like chikankari, zari, and thread work, which means small variations in pattern are natural and part of the handmade character, not a flaw.

We recommend a gentle hand wash or dry clean for embroidered and silk-blend pieces, and a mild machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle for plain cotton and linen kurtas. Always wash dark colours separately for the first two washes and avoid direct sunlight while drying to protect the fabric's tone.

Most of our festive and wedding-edit pieces are available as complete sets — kurta with pajama, or kurta with a matching or contrasting bottom and dupatta. This is mentioned clearly on each product page along with what's included.

Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days and typically arrive within 4-7 business days depending on your location. Metro cities usually see faster delivery, and you'll receive tracking details by SMS and email once your order ships.

We accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery, provided the piece is unworn, unwashed, and has its original tags intact. Made-to-order and customized pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

We photograph every piece in natural daylight to keep colours as true as possible, but minor variation can occur depending on your screen settings and, for hand-dyed fabrics, the dyeing batch itself.
